I have been learning along the way trought the wordpress course and working with my photos team, I started to contribute to this team because I love photography and travel so I have taken a lot of photos of nature and animals and also because I think photos it is the perfect combination between technology and the world which helps to preserve moments that you want to keep with you.
To resume my project:

Project title: photo contribution “Photos of nature and animals”
Type of contribution: photo contribution
What I will produce: 30 accepted CC0 photos
Why it qualifies: It contributes adding photos to the WordPress database, helping them to get pictures of nature and animals.
This project will be contributing to add more photos to the WordPress database, WordPress photos is based on volundeers adding pictures so I want to help them with photos of nature and animals, every time I submit a photos I try my best to describe it so blind people and people with vision limitations can listen to the description and also enjoy the beauty shown in every photo.

Progress and achievements!
I have been contributing to my team with differents photos of animals and nature, some of them have been taken on my travels, most of them have been accepted which is great, I have done a contributions to my team and I want to continue helping them, I have contribute with over 20 photos of nature and animals at this point.
Comparison with my initial plan
I feel that I have been doing really great with the process of this course and the contribution with my team, I have actually done better that I though I would do, I have never done a blog so that is new too but I have never upload my photos to be part of a team like this so that is a new experience but I have learn a lot and the most recent photos I have upload all of them have been accepted!
I thought I would have like 15 photos accepted at this moment but I have over 20 now!
Obstacles encountered
It was dificult to find the link to upload photos but once I found it the process was easy and smoth, I also had some some obstacles to understand what are the pictures that will get accepted in the aspect of how clear they were because according to me some of them were not blurry but for the team they were but then I understoond and used some tools to help me to know how many pixels they were and after that almost all of them have been accepted.
Actually the photo of the parakeet in this blog was one of the photos rejected.
How I faced the obstacles
I learned from my mistakes so what I did was to check the documentation properly and carefully to find the link that I needed.
I started to check the photos carefully and also use tools to make sure the photos are not blurry and check the amount of pixels on them, most of them were already on my photo and part of my gallery tools.

Pending work
Finish my contribution to my team uploading the photos that still missing in my contribution that are less than 10 photos.
I also need to complete the wordpress course, create the other pages for my blog and complete the document were I have been documentating my process, so will be working on this in the second part of this course.
Needs for the second half…
I need to plan when I will upload the photos that I still need to upload into the photos team and finish my document where I have been writing my journey but that will be all I need because I think that I have been doing a great progress
